I'm Adrianne, an ACA-registered counsellor working online with teens and adults across Australia.
My approach is warm, collaborative and person-centred: the work is shaped around you, not a set program. After eight years alongside individuals and families in the child protection and drug & alcohol sectors, I know lasting change is possible when people feel heard, supported, and empowered.

Mostly, we talk. Gently. The initial consultation is a shorter, 30-minute session: a chance to share what has brought you here, ask anything you like, and see how it feels to talk together. There is no pressure to tell your whole story at once, and no obligation to continue if it doesn't feel right.
Life happens. Cancel or reschedule more than 24 hours before your session and your booking deposit simply moves to the new time, or is refunded where applicable. Within 24 hours, or for a missed session, the deposit is retained as a late-cancellation fee, because that time has been held just for you.
Yes. What you share stays between us, within the rare legal exceptions every counsellor must observe, such as a serious risk of harm. If one of those ever applied, my aim would always be to talk it through with you first.
We meet by secure video call. Your link arrives with your booking confirmation, and there's nothing to install. A quiet spot and a pair of headphones are all you need. The research is clear that online counselling works just as well as in-person for most people.
