One-to-one, at your pace

Counselling with Adrianne is for teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, family challenges, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck and ready for something to change. You don’t need a diagnosis, a referral, or a perfectly worded reason to come.

Adrianne brings eight years of experience across the child protection and alcohol & other drugs sectors, including supporting families within a residential rehabilitation service. Whatever you bring, you’ll be met with experience, understanding, and a genuine belief in your capacity to grow.

Sessions happen by secure video call. The first session is mostly about getting a picture of what’s going on and what you’d like to be different. You talk as much or as little as feels right. From there, sessions follow what you bring, at a pace you set. Some people come weekly for a stretch; others fortnightly or monthly. There’s no set program to keep up with.

Online sessions

Counselling from your own quiet corner

All sessions are online, which means no travel time, no waiting room, and counselling that fits around work, study or family. Online counselling is well supported by research and, for many people, feels no different once the first few minutes pass. Available to clients anywhere in Australia, with evening and weekend times each week.

We meet by secure video call. Your link arrives with your booking confirmation, and there’s nothing to install. A private spot and a pair of headphones are all you really need.

The practical bits

Fees & payment

All fees are in Australian dollars and GST-free. A deposit secures your booking ($40 for an initial consultation, $60 for a standard session), paid securely on the Cliniko booking page.

Rebates

Counselling with Velora Counselling isn’t covered by Medicare or private health fund rebates. That also means no referral, no mental health care plan, and no diagnosis on your record. The fee you see is the whole of it.

Cancellations

Cancel or reschedule more than 24 hours before your appointment and your deposit transfers to the new time, or is refunded where applicable. Within 24 hours, or if you don’t attend, the deposit is retained as a late-cancellation fee.
