About Adrianne
The person on the other side of the screen
However you found your way here, I’m glad you did. This page is so you can get a feel for me before we ever speak.
Hello, I’m Adrianne
I’m a qualified counsellor with a Bachelor of Behavioural Science and a Bachelor of Counselling. My passion is supporting people through life’s challenges with compassion, understanding, and a genuine belief in their ability to grow and create meaningful change.
Over the past eight years I’ve worked across the child protection and alcohol & other drugs (AOD) sectors, supporting individuals and families through complex life circumstances. Most recently I’ve specialised in supporting families within a residential AOD rehabilitation service in Logan, Queensland. That experience has given me a deep understanding of trauma, family dynamics and addiction, and it has reinforced my belief that lasting change is possible when people feel heard, supported, and empowered.
My counselling approach is warm, collaborative, and person-centred. I enjoy helping people organise overwhelming thoughts, gain clarity, build confidence, and develop practical strategies to move towards the life they want. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, trauma, addiction, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, I aim to provide a safe, non-judgemental space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace.
I believe every person has strengths, resilience, and the capacity for growth. My role is to walk alongside you, helping you discover those strengths as you create positive, lasting change. I look forward to supporting you on your journey.
